With over 25 years of experience, Interhyve has grown from a regional IT services provider into a multinational MSP supporting businesses across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Offering proactive IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and technical support tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises, Interhyve stands out for its agility and problem-solving culture. However, as the company scaled globally, it faced growing pains, mainly due to fragmented operations and outdated internal systems.
For service-driven companies like MSPs, the focus naturally leans toward client satisfaction, seamless delivery, and technical excellence. In the rush to support others, internal systems often evolve reactively just enough to keep operations moving.
But as the business grows, those patchwork processes begin to show strain. Manual workarounds multiply, tools fall out of sync, and delays creep into critical tasks like invoicing and reporting. That’s when the friction becomes visible and the need for a unified, future-ready system becomes impossible to ignore.
Similarly, this was the moment of realization for Interhyve, a Geneva-based MSP with more than 25 years of experience and a footprint spanning multiple continents. Renowned for delivering IT solutions to others, Interhyve recognized that optimizing their own internal engine was essential to continuing their high-quality service at scale.
Interhyve’s operations were managed on disparate tools like Craio (helpdesk), BaxiO (accounting), Excel (lead data recording), and Power Automate (workflow logic). It became a barrier to scalability and efficiency and they discussed these challenges widely on our very first call in August, 2024.




Interhyve partnered with Aktiv Software to bring clarity and control back to their operations. We began with a deep Discovery Phase to understand their unique workflows & pain points.
Employees logged work hours in one system, while invoices were created in another.
Excel-based lead management and a separate helpdesk system led to disconnected service and sales workflows.
Decision-makers couldn’t access consolidated reports.
HR tasks like contract management and leave tracking were manual; Power Automate was used as a fragile workaround.
The implementation phase focused on eliminating redundancies and building a robust, integrated system.
Each module was meticulously configured to work as part of a unified, automated system.

The digital transformation started with organizing how Interhyve captures and manages client leads, which then flow seamlessly into the sales pipeline.
Interhyve had no CRM system in place. Leads were maintained manually using Excel sheets, and there was no tracking of communication, follow-ups, or status updates. As a result, valuable business opportunities were often missed or mismanaged due to lack of visibility and structure.
We understood the business flow from lead capture to opportunity management and conversion to sale and proposed to build a complete end-to-end CRM and Sales solution utilizing potential of Odoo’s Sales & CRM modules.
One of the most critical challenges Interhyve faced was managing different hourly rates for each client and generating invoices based on monthly timesheet entries. Standard Odoo functionalities fell short of handling these nuances, so we designed a custom workflow that fully automates the connection between sales orders, timesheets, and invoice generation.
We understood the business flow from lead capture to opportunity management and conversion to sale and proposed to build a complete end-to-end CRM and Sales solution utilizing potential of Odoo’s Sales & CRM modules.
To streamline service delivery and client support we recognized that their support operations revolve around Helpdesk and need to feed into billing.
Tickets first land in a primary channel and are redirected to the right customer-specific channel based on subject keywords and email IDs.
Given the large volume of monthly invoices Interhyve generates, manual billing was a significant bottleneck.
Despite Interhyve’s recurring services model, invoicing was handled manually at the end of each month based on hours pulled from timesheets. The process took days and was highly prone to delays and discrepancies between delivered work and invoiced amounts.
